Before diving into the data, it’s critical to understand what it is, and more importantly, isn’t saying. This Project does not determine what makes a great school, there is no amount of data that can determine what a student’s experience will be at a school and if it will set them up for a lifetime of success. The Atlanta School Data Project is designed to organize publicly available data in a way for parents, caregivers, and the community to understand.

the project’s origin
Atlanta Public School parents and stakeholders wanted a user-friendly way to understand publicly available data about their school, highlighting the core categories they were interested in.
With information at your side, you can take the next steps to create change by using your vote, sharing your stories, and building a community. Together, we can create real impact for the over 50,000 students that rely on Atlanta Public Schools for their education, setting them up for a lifetime of success.
